Dreams Coming True!
Hi all,
So since my last post, a lot has fallen into place about when/where I will be this summer. Surprisingly enough, the day after my last post of being at peace and not knowing where I was going, I received a job offer. I then followed up with another company to ask what my standing was before accepting the first job offer, and they too offered me a job. Having options, I chose to accept a position as a Process Engineer with ON Semiconductor up in Gresham Oregon, and am very excited!
I think I just needed to be at peace not knowing where I was going and then I was blessed with some direction. Talk about nail-biting, as it was during finals week and getting through group projects, finals, presentations, and closing the building. Plus packing and trying to move and coordinating the various graduation activities.
Regardless of such, here are some photos from my last few weeks at Oregon State University! (Most are graduation photos, and one from working in the lab.)
With all of the happenings, Karl and I have nowhere to truly call home at the moment, and have been going back and forth between our parent's homes. We've been apartment hunting and sent in a housing application and working through some relocation services with the company. I've also been working on wrapping up some loose ends due to wedding things. Some things don't have the happiest solutions, but they will have to do. Working on some crafts and starting to get a bit more technical with timing of things and the schedule on the wedding day.
Life is going to be busy, but we've also found some time to relax and watch the World Cup. We've enjoyed sleeping in and staying up late playing cribbage with my Dad as well as some videogames. We plan on going to the movies this afternoon as we haven't been since Valentine's Day when we saw the Lego Movie.
I am so thankful to all who have helped me graduate and encouraged me when times were rough. I am blessed beyond belief by those who have given me graduation gifts or even early Wedding Gifts. I am so thankful on behalf of both Karl and I ( you will be getting thank you cards! They're coming! [Wedding ones will be after the wedding though as we want to include some wedding photo as some won't be able to make it.])
Thanks for reading and supporting me.
